Canna Companion Sustainability Practices

As you likely know, we are in the middle of a global environmental crisis. Around the world people are looking for ways to reduce or reverse the damage being done to our planet. At Canna Companion we feel it is our duty to minimize our impact on the environment. This value informs every part of our business from ingredient sourcing all the way to the products we use to clean our facilities.

Over the years we have made many changes in order to maximize our use of recycled materials and minimize single-use items and hazardous chemicals. We like to avoid print advertising whenever possible, preferring to focus on social media and online advertising in order to reduce paper use. We recently attended the ACVIM Forum in Phoenix, AZ. There, we had both folders and pens with our logo to hand out. Both the folders and pen casings were 100% post consumer recycled and recyclable.

You may have recently noticed or soon be noticing a change in the packaging for our capsule products. This, too, is a result of our commitment to the environment. Our new packaging contains 25% less plastic than the old and is 100% mixed plastics (PET/HB & LLDPE) recyclable. Additionally, it is FDA Food safe compliant. You can rest assured that when you purchase our products you are purchasing from a company that is committed to protecting our planet.

As a company, we are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint and provide you with a more environmentally friendly option to support your pet’s health. This is something that we keep in mind in our day-to-day operations and as we continue to make improvements we will certainly share those updates with you.
